The basis of the project is that thousands of classical music presenters post detailed information about their concerts on their websites, and they're eager for folks to see them--but before Classical Concert Map, no one centralized that information! With the advent of GPT3, it became possible to extract program details from any concert page without custom logic; a few years later, the project now covers tens of thousands of composers and can ingest data from arbitrary historical sources.
